Population Projections

Using our Washoe County residential subdivision database as a starting point, the absorption and projection data takes this data one step further by adding:

  • Calculated and estimated absorption (sales) rates for each subdivision;
  • Census block-group level estimates for persons-per-household by subdivision;
  • Census block-group level occupancy rates per subdivision;
  • 10 year housing unit projection per subdivision;
  • 10 year population forecast per subdivision.
